How do I seize every opportunity that is right for my business?

This is a tough assignment but we must stop limiting ourselves and move forward bravely. Here are some actions women & men can take to reverse this trend and advance their careers:

Tip: Be brave and take risks. Remake yourself to exude confidence. Reach for opportunities. Opportunities are rarely handed to you on a plate—you have to reach out and seize them. Take risks and advocate for yourself. Take the hard job even if it’s a stretch for you. If you don’t, some guy will, even if it’s just as hard a stretch for him. Put yourself forward. When you get your hands on a project, dive into it, take charge, and offer your opinion as freely as any other person would.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Learn how to recover from mistakes; Perfection is unachievable. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

2. Remember your body language matters; lean forward...not away...subconsciously you’re reminding yourself of your capabilities to achieve rather than feeling defeated before you even get started.

3. If you don’t ask, you don’t get; Ask for what you want and need! My parents always taught me, a close mouth doesn’t get feed. So open your mouth and ask, risking rejection is part of the process but you won’t know unless you go for it!

✨Final thought, I always say most situations has a yes in them, I just need to know the risk and if I'm willing to accept the cost attached. ✨
